In the 6th match of T20 World Cup, England All-rounder Luke Wright’s 99 not out helped England register a 116 runs win over Afghanistan. England was asked to bat first by Afghanistan and the bowlers striked in the very first over as C Kieswetter got out for a duck. But Luke Wright’s 55-ball 99 not out (8×4, 6×6) helped them post a huge total of 196/5 in 20 overs.

Chasing 197 to win, Afghanistan lost 8 wickets for just 26 runs. From 26/8 in 9 overs, Afghanistan managed to score 80/10 in 17.2 overs thanks to G Naib’s brilliant 44 off 32 balls.
